AMP Publicity is an independent music PR company founded by Louise Minter and Tim Moore built on 20 years shared experience in music industry. Our creative campaigns are trusted by industry and artists to develop lasting online profile and secure national radio airtime. We are proud of our strong relationships with Journalists, Producers and DJs and are respected for the music that we passionately promote.
With her academic background and broad experience working across multi-industry PR campaigns, Louise’s career has developed over the last five years to where she is today, a recognised player in the music PR industry.
The success of her campaigns draws on early experience running live events at University before working her way up through previous independent PR companies building strong connections across press and online. Louise has always been an avid festival attendee since her first foray into a field watching Blur at Reading Festival 1999. Now she is able to bring her love of music and remarkable organisational skills together, to create strategic campaigns across online and printed media.
Louise has an honest and energetic approach to all that she does, keeping focused on achieving the best for her artists and ensuring she maintains trusted and respected relationships both with clients and journalists. She is most often spotted riding around North London on her bicycle, wearing a bear hood and eating a lammy
Ten years ago Tim dived in at the deep end of the music industry armed with a microphone and a tourbus spending four years on the road until he achieved his dream of being played on Radio 1 by the legendary John Peel and playing to a full crowd at London Astoria (R.I.P)
Since then he has worked in press departments, merchandise design, live events and promotions with both major / indie record labels and artists in the UK giving him a massive insight into the ever changing music industry and a massive contact book to go with it.
Unable to stay away from live music Tim can be found at gigs and festivals year round either executing the industry standard a&r head nod or throwing shapes by the bass bin depending on how bright the lazers are. Tim is very fond of lazers.
Heading up the Radio side of things at AMP his super power is planning achievable and objective strategies based on strong relationships with people across the radio industry meaning our artists get played by the DJs that matter on the stations that count.
